Documentary Subject #1
Kathy Selking (Health Services Coordinator, MDA)
Kathy has worked with MDA for several years now. She is based in Ft. Wayne with a lot of her work focusing on helping local MDA families with special medical needs as well as overseeing much of the Summer Camp and Muscle Walk activities. I have met and worked with her discussing and planning details regarding the MDA Muscle Walk during her time with MDA.
Possible Questions:
1) How did you first become involved in MDA?
2) How many years exactly have you been with the company?
3) Does your job ever get emotionally hard to handle at times? How?
4) How would describe MDA in a sentence and/or few words?

Music Video Analysis
Here I give you a song that may stick in your head for some time if you haven't heard it before; "All About that Bass" by Megan Trainor

We could go on about the contradicting message of her video but I'll just mention some of the aesthetics of the video. The video I feel is not too complicated in and of itself; it starts off introducing the "characters" in the beginning then continues on with the story/message as the video continues. It has some sharp cuts and smooth transitions and zoom shots. Another noticeable thing after having watched the video again a few times was that she seemed to be in the center of every shot when they would cut to her in the the video each time. That to mean seems somewhat contradicting to the "real" message here.

Emotion Photos
With kids & animals this assignment was fun; it also helped that we got TONS of snow so we got to go outside for some fun! With that said my emotion of choice for my photos is JOY!!
