With kids & animals this assignment was fun; it also helped that we got TONS of snow so we got to go outside for some fun! With that said my emotion of choice for my photos isJOY!!
I feel joy in all your images except for the last two. It took me a moment to realize what I was looking at. Now that I see it is a dog rolling in the snow, it is not hard for me to intellectually understand that this act brings the dog joy. However, I do not see joy in the frame. The image breaks down to a negative shape center punched in a white space. Being closer to the dog so it is more easily recognized and coming down to the same level as the dog may help the viewer see the emotion.
